PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a copybook with a round bar functioned as a weight, to retain rounding or floating of a net by a reinforcing cloth piece and to provide a stably using state by mounting the bar on an upper end of a rectangular net underlay, mounting the piece on the lower end of the underlay and forming the underlay for copying a calligraphy. SOLUTION: A round bar 3 made of a round rod of a wood, synthetic resin, paper or the like or a cylinder is mounted at an upper end 2 of a net underlay 1 formed in a rectangular shape of a synthetic resin of a fine mesh. The bar 3 is, for example, rounded in a cylindrical state, a connecting end is inserted into the cylindrical upper end 2 sewed or adhered by an edge protective material 4 such as a cloth tape or the like, and detachably mounted or the upper end 2 of the underlay 1 is directly fixed to the periphery of the bar 3 by adhering or the like. A protective member 5 such as a cloth tape or the like made of a bias tape, nonwoven fabric, raised blanket or the like is mounted at the lower end of the underlay 1 by a means such as sewing, adhering or the like and formed so as not to be rounded or wrinkled.
