PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert sludge generated in sewage treatment to activated carbide to effectively utilize the activated carbide in various processes of a sewage treatment system. SOLUTION: Sewage is introduced into a first sedimentation basin 10 to separate sludge and the sewage from which sludge is separated in the first sedimentation basin 10 is introduced into a biological reaction tank 14, in which deodorizing waste carbon is charged, along with the deodorizing waste carbon used in a deodorizing apparatus 12 to perform biological treatment and adsorption treatment, and the sewage treated in the biological reaction tank 14 is introduced into a final sedimentation basin 16 to separate sludge to obtain cleaned treated water, and the sludges sedimented and separated in the first and final sedimentation basins 10, 16 are dehydrated by a dehydrator 20 to obtain dehydrated sludge which is, in turn, dried, carbonized and activated in an active carbide producing apparatus 26 to produce activated carbide and a part of this activated carbide is supplied to the deodorizing apparatus 12 to deodorize malodorous air and used deodorizing waste carbon is supplied to the biological treatment tank 14. |
