PURPOSE: A device for changing a gear of a controller is provided to improve power transferring efficiency by changing speed through the gear and to simplify structure. CONSTITUTION: A device for changing a gear in a controller comprises a main shaft(12) rotationally supported on a shift case(10) through a bearing(11); a transferring shift gear(14) combined to a transferring gear(15) on a spline(13); a pulley mounting unit(16) formed on a side of the spline to receive power from an engine; a power withdrawing unit(17) extended on the other side of the spline; small and large gears(18,19) formed on the transferring shift gear; first and second shift shafts(21,22) mounted on an upper portion of the main shaft; and a ring groove(20) inserting a shift fork(23b) of the second shift shaft by being mounted in the middle of the transferring shift gear. Thereby, the device for changing the gear in the controller improves power transferring efficiency by changing speed through the gear.
