PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device with which an ultrasonic diagnostic image may be obtained at a frequency suitable to a diagnostic part with good resolution in a shallow part and good sensitivity in a deep part by an ultrasonic vibrator transducer of a composite piezoelectric substance and allows the reduction of the diameter of an ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic vibrator transducer 12 formed of the composite piezoelectric substance having a frequency characteristic of a wide band is arranged at the front end of an insertion part 5 of the ultrasonic probe 2. When a connector 8 is connected to an ultrasonic observation device 3, signal transmission pulses are impressed from a signal transmission circuit 15 to the composite piezoelectric substance and the echo signal received in the composite piezoelectric substance is inputted to the signal reception circuit 16. A control section 19 variably controls the number of waves and central frequency of the signal transmission pulses from the signal transmission circuit 15, variably controls the resonance frequency characteristic of the signal reception circuit 16 and displays the ultrasonic diagnostic image by extracting the echo signals with the good resolution in the shallow part and the good sensitivity in the deep part. |
