PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament fixing ring for a necklace allowing of simple replacing of an ornament in a short time with the necklace kept worn. SOLUTION: This opening type fixing ring 100 is used for hanging an ornament on a necklace string. A lower member 110 is provided with a nearly U-shaped body 112 bored with a first pinhole 112b and recessed with an elastic member insertion groove 112c on one side face and a lock member 114 fitting an ornament 14. A release preventing lug 116 is extended upward at one side upper end section of the body 112, and an ornament handhold section 118 is formed at the other side end section facing the lug 116 to be operated by fingers. An upper member 120 formed with side plates 124 and a hook-like lock ring 126 is rotatably connected to the lower member 110 via a pin 130. An elastic member 14 applies restoring force to the upper member 120 and lock ring 126. |
