MANUFACTURE OF BRAKE DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a ventilated brake disk provided with a support plate which is also used for cooling between surfaces opposite to each other of a pair of disks through the forging. SOLUTION: Each of a pair of disks 2 integratedly provided with a support plate which is also used for cooling is split-formed through the forging, and a joining part 5 of the support plates with each other is induction-heated by a coil 7 to the specified temperature, and pressed by a pressing mechanism 6 to implement the solid phase joining.
