measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: meter is intended for measurement of displacement of metal parts of rotor machines. It includes differential eddy current converter with excitation and measurement windings, differential amplifier, phase detector, indicator and generator. Meter is supplemented with analog multiplier, scale amplifier, subtracter and first source of reference voltage. Generator incorporates second source of reference voltage and is based on circuit of LC oscillator stabilized by amplitude. Excitation winding of eddy current converter and capacitor are connected in parallel and are placed in positive feedback of its amplifier. subtracter receives signals from stabilizer of oscillation amplitude and first source of reference voltage. Analog multiplier takes output signals of phase detector and signals from output of subtracter amplified by scale amplifier. EFFECT: meter is characterized by enhanced accuracy of measurement of displacement of object thanks to allowance for clearance between it and transducer. 2 dwg
