PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine capable of using a steering bracket of the same shape, even if the length of a steering handle is different. SOLUTION: This outboard engine is provided with an outboard engine main body 9 rotatably mounted on a vessel, a steering bracket 10 projecting from the outboard engine main body to a front side, a bearing for steering handle 11 formed separately from the steering bracket 10 and mounted on an upper surface of the steering bracket 10, and a mounting boss rotatably fitted into the bearing 11. The outboard engine is provided with a steering handle 12 rotating with the bearing 11 as a center and a stopper provided on the bearing for steering handle 11, stopping the steering handle 12 at a vessel maneuvering position projecting forward.
