PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident of making a false step by providing a level difference surface on one end of a tread to form a lifted surface at a location higher than a reference surface, and forming a folding portion at an opposite end to the lifted surface, so as to face the ground. SOLUTION: In stairs consisting of treads and handrail portions, at the time of forming the treads, a level difference surface is formed, to thereby provide a lifted surface 1 at a location higher than a reference surface 3. Further, to accelerate to natural dropping of raindrops, a folding portion 4 is formed on one end opposite to the lifted surface 1, in a manner facing the ground when installed, at the time of forming the treads. Next, when one walks up and down the stairs, he walks down the stairs while making sure that his heel makes contact with the reference surface 3 and his toe base makes contact with the lifted surface 1. Therefore, a possibility of an accident of falling or tumbling due to loosing his footing can be decreased. |
