PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of the bending of a film, the peeling thereof or the like on the surface of a product by simple constitution in the film insert molding of the product having a large curvature or shape. SOLUTION: A recessed part 11a is formed to the end part remote from the injection port of a gate 8 of the cavity 11 of a mold at a predetermined position. A film 3 having a notch provided thereto at the position corresponding to the recessed part 11a is fixed to a fixed mold 6 in the vicinity of the injection port 8a so that the attaching part 3a thereof becomes above to be arranged in a state suspended in the cavity 11 and a movable mold 7 is subsequently closed. A molten resin is injected in the cavity 11 from the gate 8 in this state and the film 3 is integrally molded on the surface of the molded resin. A large undulated part is generated at the lower end part of the film 3 so as to correspond to the recessed part 11a and the undulation of the other part of the film 3 becomes small.
