PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having excellent flame retardance and mold staining properties and improved grindability of molded product obtained by melt molding by making the composition include a specific aromatic polycarbonate resin, an aromatic polyester resin and a phosphorus-based flame- retardant in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This resin composition comprises (A) 40-92 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin having 130,000-19,500 viscosity average molecular weight (generally obtained from a dihydric phenol and a carbonate precursor by an interfacial polymerization method or a melt method), (B) 5-40 wt.% of an aromatic polyester resin (e.g. a polyethylene terephthalate, etc.), and (C) 3-20 wt.% of a phosphorus-based flame-retardant of the formula (X is a group derived from a hydroquinone, resorcinol, etc.; j-m are each 0 or 1; n is 1-5; R1 to R4 are each a group derived from phenol, cresol, xylenol, etc.). Preferably the composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of the composition composed of the components and (D) 0.1-25 pts.wt. of a silicate-based filler.
