PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a deviation of an impact position of an ink droplet between respective nozzle rows when print heads are aligned in the main scanning direction or when the nozzle rows are aligned in the main scanning direction, by providing a plurality of drive waveform data generating correcting means for correcting drive waveform generating data in a voltage axis direction. SOLUTION: A controller 13 selects print data from a drive waveform generating data memory means 17, and sends the data to a plurality of drive waveform generating data correcting means 60. The selected data is corrected by the means 60, and sent to a drive waveform generating means 50. Print head drive waveforms adapted to respective heads are generated by the means 50, sent to the respective heads 16, and inks are discharged from the heads according to dot pattern data. Thus, print head drive waveforms of suitable voltages different at the respective heads or nozzles can be generated.
