PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the pain to be given to a patient by embodying a slip ring of a small size and reducing the diameter at the front end of an ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic endoscope 1 includes an ultrasonic vibrator transducer 25, a revolving shaft 23 for fixing the ultrasonic vibrator transducer 25 and the slip ring 22 for bringing the ultrasonic vibrator transducer25 revolved by the revolving shaft 23 into electrical contact with the outside. The slip ring 22 consists of a ring part 22d fixed to the revolving shaft 23 and a brush part 22a which attains conduction by coming into pressurized contact with the ring part 22d. The brush part 22a consists of a metallic brush 22c and a brush holding member 22b formed of a resin. A supporting hole 40 of a bearing to support the revolving shaft 23 is disposed at the brush holding member 22b.
