摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a radiation wire from coming out into blood vessel though the guide wire can go out into a blood vessel over the tip end part by making the guide wire and the radiation wire pass through the same lumen and the diameter of the lumen reduced around the tip end part and specifying the size of the smallest diameter part. SOLUTION: This catheter 12 comprises a shaft with a lumen and a manifold 27. The diameter of the tip end part of the shaft is reduced toward the distal end side. The shaft comprises the distal shaft 14 and the proximal shaft 15. The lumen of the haft is commonly used for passing the guide wire 11 and the radiation wire 7. The smallest inner diameter around the tip end part of the lumen is set at a size larger than the outer diameter of the guide wire 11 but smaller than the outer diameter of the radiation wire 7. Thus the guide wire 11 can come into a blood vessel over the tip end part but the radiation wire 7 cannot come into the blood vessel because motion of the radiation wire 7 is obstructed around the tip end of the lumen.
