PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a plurality of sensors, to simplify a structure and to reduce cost by connecting a traveling driving part and a car body via a connecting part, providing a load measuring part for detecting load acting on the connecting part and detecting weight mounted on the car body from the detected value. SOLUTION: A traveling driving part fits a pinion 22 engaged with a rack 7, interlocks and connects an upper surface of a gear box 20 with a motor 23, supplies power from a power feeding rail and travels and drives this monorail car. A connecting part is projectingly provided with a bracket 24 on a rear side of a car body frame 9 and fixes a base end part of a connecting rod 25 extending in a rear direction of the lower surface by two bolts 26, 26. A load measuring part S is constituted of a strain gauge S1 arranged on the base end part of the connecting rod 25. Force parallel to a rail R acting between the car body frame 9 on which a cabin is mounted and the traveling driving part is detected and mounting weight is calculated from gross weight. Only one load measuring part is required and cost is reduced.
