PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety pin for fitting a collar cover to blanket or the like giving no cold feeling when kept in contact with the skin or face during a sleep and having a good taste in a fitted state. SOLUTION: In this safety pin body 1, the outer end of the fixed side 4b of a set needle 4 is fixed to the upper section of a needle tip cover 2 having a needle tip hook groove 3, and a needle tip 5 on the set side 4c is removably inserted into the needle tip cover 2 from the needle tip hook groove 3. The whole except for the groove port 3a of the needle tip hook groove 3 and the set side 4c including the needle tip 5 of the set needle 4 is covered with a heat retaining material 6 such as cloth.
