PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent steam from coming into contact with the face even with a tableware washing and drying machine of a desk type by providing the front surface of the tableware washing and drying machine with steam ports for emitting the steam therein to the outside and providing the surface with steam guides for changing the direction of blowing the steam to a direction exclusive of a forward direction. SOLUTION: The front surface of the tableware washing and drying machine 1 is provided with a freely openable and closable door and both sides of a handle disposed at the upper center of the front of the door is provided with the steam ports 3 and the steam guides 4 are mounted at the steam ports 3. The steam guides 4 are formed of inclined guide parts 7 inclined increasingly toward the front surface side the nearer the upper side at a size to cover the entire surface of the steam ports 3 and mounting parts 8 disposed at their bottom ends. The mounting parts 8 are fixed in abutment on the angles at the lower edges of the steam ports 3, by which the inclined guide plates 7 as the steam guides 4 are mounted. As a result, the steam is prevented from coming into contact with the face, etc. of a user when the steam generated in a drying machine 1 is blown out of the steam ports 3 when drying tableware.
