PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently moderate impact force by a rib projected in a limited space surrounded by a vehicular panel and a skin member, and to reduce a projected height dimension of the rib to restrain a comming-out amount into an in-cabin space. SOLUTION: This interior trimming material is composed of a skin member 2 of a substantial C-shaped in its cross-sectional view provided coveringly via a space 4 with respect to a panel protrusion streak 7 extended longitudinal- directionally in an in-cabin side of a vehicular panel, and plural prate-like ribs 3 indipendent each other projected inside the space 4 from reverse face side facing to the vehicular panel of the skin member 2, and crossed with a longitudinal direction of the vehicular panel to be laid between side walls of the skin member 2. A projected end edge of the each rib 3 has a shape at least formed substantially along a tip face of the panel protrusion streak 7 and an occupant- opposed side face consecutive to a side part thereof, and is provided with a deformation introducing means 30 for buckling-deforming a rib portion 3B projected toward the tip end face of the protrusion streak 7 in a projection- intermediate position thereof, when impact is received from an occupant.
