PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky type seedling transplanter capable of integrally shaking a machine body when the machine body receive the shake or the like to prevent the balance from being largely upset by constituting right and left movable seedling-carrying platforms so as to have specific construction. SOLUTION: This sulky type seedling transplanter having a traveling machine body with a seedling-transplanting apparatus carrying seedling-carrying platforms for plural ridges in the right and left direction, and constituted so that the seedling-carrying platforms 14 and 15 at the movable sides, arranged at the right and left side parts in the seedling-carrying platforms for the plural ridges may be housed in an overlapped state on the upper surface side of the fixed side seedling-carrying platform 13 at the center part side, is constituted so that the seedling-carrying platforms 14 and 15 may be, brought near so that the facing inner edges may face to each other in a housed posture, and the inner edges may be connected to each other. At the time, the connection of each inner edge of the right and left movable side seedling-carrying platforms 14 and 15 is preferably constituted so as to be carried out by one connecting member 27.
