PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush toilet hard to be stained on the toilet bowl surface of the flush toilet, allowing easy removing of the dirt by washing, making brown ring-shaped dirt hard to adhere to a water accumulating part near a waterline, and allowing removing of the adhered dirt easily simply by wiping with cloth. SOLUTION: This flush toilet is formed so that a surface glazed layer is formed on a pottery material at least in a toilet bowl part and a water sump part 2 is provided therein. The average roughness Ra on the toilet bowl surface 1 at the centerline measured by a probe type surface roughness measurer in accordance with JIS-B0651 (1996) is less than 0.07μm, and a water-repellent coating is formed on the water sump part 2 at a waterline forming part 3.
