PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent electroconductive composite fiber having an excellent electricity-removing performance even under an environment of a low frictional electrification voltage, almost not having a reduction of the electricity-removing performance on keeping an actual wearing, and sustaining the electricity-removing performance for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This electroconductive fiber is produced by compounding (A) an electroconductive polymer layer consisting of a thermoplastic polyamide containing 15-50 wt.% electroconductive carbon black, and (B) a protective polymer layer consisting of a semi-aromatic polyamide, in which the electroconductive polymer layer A is exposed at the fiber surface, the number of the expose part is 4 per one filament of the electroconductive fiber, its exposed distance L1 (μm) in a cross sectional peripheral length direction and an electric resistance R (Ω/cm.f) on impressing 100 V satisfy the following formulae, the protecting polymer layer B occupies >=60% of the fiber cross sectional peripheral length and forms >=50 wt.% and <=97 wt.% total weight of the fiber. Formula I: 0.1<=L1 (μm)<=L2/10. Formula II: logR=6.3-11.9. L2: The cross sectional peripheral length of 1 filament.
