PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade moistureproofness and water resistance by laminating a hot-melt adhesive layer on one surface of a wood base material of a moistureproof sheet having the hot-melt adhesive layer by a thermal adhesion process. SOLUTION: A moistureproof sheet 10a comprises a base material layer 1 and a hot-melt adhesive layer 2 composed of a tackifier which is made up of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as a main component and paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, a low molecular weight polyethylene, isobutylene, a rosin derivative or petroleum resin and the like. This moistureproof sheet 10a is pressed onto one surface or both surfaces of a wood base material 6 with the help of a heating roll made up of silicone rubber or the like and both thermally bonded with the hot-melt adhesive layer 2. Thus, superb moistureproofness and high water resistance are ensured and the wood decorative board free from warpage due to moisture is obtained.
