Use of amh and/or amh agonists and/or amh antagonists for long-term control of female fertility

Method of treatment of a woman to modify her fertility comprising administering anti-M}llerian hormone (AMH) and/or an AMH agonist and/or an AMH antagonist. Said treatment may be used to inhibit recruitment of primordial follicles into the pool of growing follicles. Contraception, prolongation of the duration of fertility and postponement of the menopause may result therefrom. Said treatment may also be directed to promote recruitment of primordial follicles into the pool of growing follicles. Improved fertility may result therefrom.
