PURPOSE: A PCB unit having a chip placed in a through-hole and an audio connector using the PCB unit provide a head set or earphone without requiring an additional circuit. CONSTITUTION: A PCB unit is constructed in a manner that a chip is placed in a through-hole formed in the PCB and both ends of the chip are connected to circuit patterns of the PCB. An audio connector includes the first and second filter PCBs(1,2), an insulating plate(3), and a ground ring(4). The first and second filter PCBs are configured in such a manner that a coil chip and a condenser chip are respectively placed in through-holes of two filter PCBs and connected with each other through a filter circuit, having the insulating plate between them. The ground ring surrounds the outer surfaces of the first and second filter PCBs and insulating plate and is connected with a ground pattern of the first and second filter PCBs.
