PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle bleeding, and the like, even after melting and improve compatibility, viscosity stability and molding processability by incorporating as an essential ingredient a polymer obtained by polymerizing an alkylene ether glycol (meth)acylate in an ester-based plasticizer. SOLUTION: There is provided a softening agent composition comprising as an essential ingredient a polymer obtained by polymerizing 5-70 wt.% of an alkylene ether glycol (meth)acrylate of the formula having a weight-average mol.wt. of 5,000-300,000 in an ester-based plasticizer having a viscosity of 500 mPa.s. This softening agent composition in an amount of 30-150 pts.wt. is admixed with 100 pts.wt. of a (meth)acrylic resin having a weight-average mol.wt. of at least 300,000, an average particle size of 1 mm or less, a glass transition temperature of at least 50 deg.C and a methacrylate content of at least 50 wt.% to give a (meth)acrylic resin composition. In the formula, R1 is H or CH3; (m) is 2-6; (n) is 2-40; and R2 is a 1-6C alkyl or phenyl.
