PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap capable of being securely attached to a side cover fixing hinge of a forklift without a bolt, and having a good appearance. SOLUTION: A hinge cap 1 has a front wall portion 11 facing to a hinge fixing plate 81, a side wall portion 12 extending from the outer edge of the front wall portion 11, and an opening portion 10 surrounded by the side wall portion 11. The hinge cap 1 has a hook portion 4 formed inwardly from a left side part 123 and a right side part 124 of the side wall portion 12, a front retaining portion 5 formed from the side wall portion 12 toward the opening portion 10, and a top retaining portion 6 formed downward from an upper side portion 125 of the side wall portion 12. The hinge cap 1 clips the fixing plate 81 between the pair of hook portions 4, 4, and attached the hook portions 4, 4 to the fixing plate 81 while keeping a hook tip of the hook portion 4 abut on a back side surface 812 of the fixing plate 81, the front retaining portion 5 on a front side surface 811 of the fixing plate 81, and the top retaining portion 6 on an upper end portion 815 of the fixing plate 81.
