摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device wherein the power supply can be changed over in an optimal state and the use convenience can be improved, by changing over a driving power supply source from an internal power source to an interface supply when a speech processor is connected with a personal computer(PC). SOLUTION: Not only a recording medium 11 but also a power supply control part 15, PC connection terminals 16, etc., are connected with a system control part 10. And, when power is supplied to the system control part 10 firstly from batteries, this speech processor performs initial settings such as external conditions of the system control part 10 and conditions for reading and writing the speech data on the recording medium 11. Next, the speech processor judges whether or not a PC is connected to the PC connection terminal 16. When the PC is not connected here, it is judges as NO, and the processor uses the existing internal power source (batteries) as it is. On the other hand, when the PC is connected, it is judged as YES, and the processor changes over the power source to an USB supply by the power source control part 15, and receives power supply from the PC side via the PC connection terminal 16.</p>
