PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optical communication module, used for a portable data terminal equipment, to be reduced in size. SOLUTION: An optical communication module used for a camera has a structure where an optical transmission IC36 and an optical reception IC37 are mounted on a mica board 35. The ICs36 and 37 are each equipped with a light emitting diode 71 and a photodiode 72. Plastic lenses 38 are each mounted on the other side of the mica board 35 corresponding to the ICs36 and 37 respectively, by which light emitted from the light emitting diode 71 is diffused, or the light is focused on the photodiode 72. |
