SOLUTION: The printer 101 is provided with a battery 105 as an auxiliary power source, and a power management system 104 monitors the state of power supply from an external AC power source. And, when power supply is stopped externally during job execution, the power supply is changed over to the battery 105 power source, and when a paper form is, for example, on a thermal fixing device, the paper form is forcibly ejected by the battery 105. Moreover, the printer stores in memory a state data at the time of the power interruption, and continues executing the job when the power supply is recovered. |
