PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the convenience of a communication unit by automatically setting/releasing a drive mode function even when a key to set/release the drive mode function is left inoperative. SOLUTION: When a control section detects that a clock section counts a setting time (step S8), that a mobile phone is loaded to an onboard adaptor (step S4), or that the mobile speed of the mobile phone reaches a prescribed speed or over (step S5), the control section automatically sets a drive mode function (step S7). The control section can automatically set the drive mode function even when a key to set the drive mode function is left inoperative because the drive mode function is automatically set through the designation of a setting time in advance, loading of the mobile phone to an onboard adaptor or detection of an automobile speed reaching a prescribed automobile speed or over. |
