PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable optical characteristics against temperature changes in the inside of a liquid crystal projector during operation and against changes in the use environment by sticking a polarizing film to the face of a color filter where thin films are laminated. SOLUTION: A polarizing film 105 is adhered to the surface of an optical thin film layer 104 laminated on one surface of a glass substrate 104a. By coating an optical thin film layer 104b with the polarizing film 105, the vaporization or absorption of moisture contained in the optical thin film layer 104b can be prevented or decreased to suppress changes in the optical characteristics. By using the polarizing film 105 already applied as a member to prevent vaporization of the moisture from the optical thin film layer 104b, an additional new member is not necessary to prevent vaporization of the moisture from the optical thin film layer 104b or the cost is not increased. Thereby, optical adjustment of a liquid crystal projector in the production process or during use can be made easy or unnecessary. |
