<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a clock hand position, determine the position after a attitude difference or the like stabilizes, and prevent the deviation of the clock hand position. SOLUTION: The clock device detects first positions where contact switches 116 and 126 to be described later are turned on by simultaneously fast- forwarding a minute hand 202 and an hour hand 203 (1) in zero-returning operation, motor pulses PL1 and PL2 are outputted for fast forwarding until a position that is slightly before (for example, 6 steps before) 360 deg. from a position being detected by the minute hand 202 only, then the clock hand is fed one step at a time (rotated) at a low speed, a position where the contact switch 116 is turned on is detected again and the detection is repeated for a plurality of times, stopping is made at a position being fed at least one step from a position where the contact switch 116 is turned on finally (2), and a control circuit 14 for performing the similar operation as in the above (2) is provided for hour hand 203 (3).</p> |
