PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic processing device with which photographic processing can be carried out without making photographic processing work useless by regulating the transporting speed by transporting rollers to a preset transporting speed even if a change arises in transporting speed. SOLUTION: The photographic processing device provided with a transporting device 6A for transporting a photographic sensitive material P by the transporting rollers 6 has detecting means SE1 and SE2 which detect the passage of the transported photographic sensitive material P at least at two points on the upstream side and downstream side in a transporting route and a control means 8 which means the required transporting time from the detection time by a displaying means on the upstream side of the transported photographic sensitive material P to the detection time by the detecting means on the downstream side in accordance with the detection results of the detecting means SE1 and SE2, judges whether the required transporting time is the preset transporting time or not and corrects the transporting speed to correct the required transporting time in such a manner that the required transporting time attains the set transporting speed when the required transporting time is different from the preset transporting time.
