PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circulating device for ventilating a room without hindering a circulating flow which is caused by means of the air circulating device for making the temperature distribution in the room uniform, when an air conditioner the indoor unit of which is attached to the ceiling (or its vicinity) of the room is operated for heating. SOLUTION: An air circulating device is provided with an air duct 8 having openings 6 and 7 near the floor 5 and ceiling 4 of a room and an air circulating fan 9 which is housed in the ceiling-side opening 7, sucks air from the opening 6 near the floor 5, and blows out the air from the opening 7 near the ceiling 4. The device is also provided with an exhaust opening 10 for discharging the air in the room to the outside through the duct 8, and a room-side opening 12 through which the outside air is taken in the room and which is provided near the ceiling-side opening 7.
