PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device which does not permit inside water to flow outside when overturned. SOLUTION: Water W which is stored in a supply water tank 20 is temporarily collected to a water receiver 20, and then the water W in the water receiver 21 is directed to a steam generating portion 45. Steam generated by the heating of the steam generating portion 45 is discharged from a steam diffusing portion 4 to the outside of the device for humidifying the interior of a room. The steam generating portion 45 consists of a hollow pipe 23 whose one portion is wound with a heating element. When the device is overturned and the supply water tank 20 is disconnected, a valve mechanism 3 and a partition 56 prevent water from leaking from the water receiver 21. |
