PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system which writes title characters in a content selected by a user and a title image and provides the title characters in the title image as the additional information of the contents about a system distributing audio/video contents. SOLUTION: This content distribution system distributing audio/video contents, is provided with a content server 5 storing audio/video contents and a title image server 4 storing still picture data suitable for titles of the audio/ video contents, adds keyword data representing the details of video/audio contents to the video/audio contents, automatically retrieves and displays title candidate images from the server 4 according to the keyword data added to the contents with respect to the contents selected by a user through content retrieval, writes title characters in a selected title image and offers the resulting title image as the additional information to the contents together with the contents.
