<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device improving the operability by making the VISS search (program searching function) in a tape reproducing device connected to an IEEE1394 serial data bus to operate in the same way as one operating with a button, etc., of the device. SOLUTION: In the system constructing the network with the plural electronic devices capable of connecting to the IEEE1394 serial data bus, the electronic device consists of a controller 11 and the tape reproducing device 12, and the controller 11 is arranged so as to search a VISS signal recorded on a tape of the tape reproducing device 12 by using the AV/C command. The AV/C command from this controller is arranged in such a manner that the Backward/ Forward command is sent out first and the Play command is sent out after the response 'Accepted' is received at the time when the VISS search of a video reproducing device is finished.</p> |
