PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively determine the effects of a drug having a bloodstream improvement action by making the bloodstream amount of a blood vessel of the deep part of peripheral tissue measured non-invasively as an index. SOLUTION: In general, an instantaneous bloodstream velocity V in blood vessels greatly changes in a short time accompanying heart beats. Therefore, in measuring the instantaneous bloodstream velocity V in blood vessels with the use of magnetic resonance imaging method, preferably, an electrocardiographic complex is measured separately to obtain stable data, and heartbeats are synchronized by matching, phases, using the peaks of the electrocardiogram as triggers. Particularly, in measuring arterial bloodstream, since the bloodstream velocity in one beat changes greatly, e.g. R waves of the cardiogram are preferably used as the trigger to stably measure the bloodstream. The obtained instantaneous bloodstream velocity V is integrated to an instantaneous sectional area of the blood vessel of a deep part and averaged per beat. The averaged value is used as the average bloodstream value. In order to enhance stability of the data, the bloodstream amount per beat is preferably measured continuously for a prescribed time.
|
