PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive air outlet of heat exchanger unit in which installation performance and appearance are improved by introducing the air outlet of heat exchanger unit to the ceiling opening of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: An air conditioner body 1 is installed in the ceiling 2 by making a rectangular opening 3 in the ceiling and a heat exchanger unit installed in the ceiling 2 incorporates a heat exchanger, an exhaust fan and a supply fan. An air outlet 9 supplies air from the heat exchanger unit body to the indoor side. A pair of suspension metals 38 are provided on the side face in the longitudinal direction of the air conditioner body 1. Auxiliary piping 39 to be connected with an outdoor unit and an engaging protrusion 40 having lateral T-shaped cross-section are provided between the suspension metals 38. The air outlet 9 of the heat exchanger unit is introduced to the ceiling opening 3 on the auxiliary piping 39 side of the air conditioner body 1. According to the structure, ceiling opening 3 dedicated for the air outlet 9 is not required.
