<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an indoor multi-path distortion and to improve SNR by arranging a chip base decision feedback equalizer(DFE), including a plurality of feed forward taps between a channel matching filter and a code-word correlation. SOLUTION: A DFE is arranged between the channel matching filter(CMF) and the code-word correlator 31, a CMF 33 and the feed forward taps 71 at the front end of DFE are mounted on a composite structure as the matching filter, which is indicated by a dot line 77 so that a signal is processed efficiently. Thus, the strongest signal component is inputted first, a weak component is inputted afterwards, and most of multi-path distortions occur on a channel impulse response as an attenuating tail by the arrangement of the DFE. Also, a feed-back tap 75 suppresses the mix. phase multi-path component, the feed forward taps 71 suppresses the max. phase component, and most of the processings are executed with the feed-back tap which has no amplification of noise during equalization.</p> |
