<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printer capable of dealing with a network environment by transmitting an acquisition request to a peripheral device and performing printing on the basis of print object data transmitted from the peripheral device in response to the acquisition request. SOLUTION: When a user inputs a prescribed information including information on the acquisition of printing object data on the basis of a print receiving picture (Web page) provided from a printer 1 and transmits the prescribed information as a printing request to the printer 1, the printer 1 acquires the printing object data and prints the printing object data according to the information. For instance, a client computer 2 transmits the transfer request of the printing receiving screen to the printer 1, and shows the printing receiving screen provided from the printer 1. The user inputs an image fetching instruction by a scanner to the printing receiving screen and transmits the instruction as a printing request to the printer 1. The printer 1 instructs the scanner to fetch an image, the scanner transmits a fetched image to the printer 1, and the image is printed on a printing and recording medium.</p> |
