PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delineator of superior visibility, even when a head lamp is not turned on. SOLUTION: In a delineator 10, one end side of an optical transmission tube 1 is curved into a circular loop shape, and the loop-shaped part is made as a luminescent part 11. An outer periphery of a part continuous with the loop- shaped luminescent part 11 is covered with a reflecting protective layer 5. In a part immediately close to the loop-shaped luminescent part 11, a bracket 12 for fixing the delineator 10 to a support or a wall on the side of a guide rail or a road is mounted. The other end side of the optical transmission tube 1 is drawn into a light source unit. Within the optical transmission tube 1, light is introduced from the light source unit. The light is radiated from a side peripheral surface of the luminescent part 11 of the optical transmission tube 1. In the optical transmission tube 1, a band-shaped reflecting layer 4, extending in the longitudinal direction of the tube 1, is formed between a core 2 and a tubular clad 3 covering the core 2. |
