PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sentence from being unclear by the pronoun without the antecedent when preparing a summary sentence of an electronic document. SOLUTION: In the case of preparing a summary sentence of a document, when a reference element corresponding to an element to be referred to such as pronoun contained in the summary sentence to be prepared is not contained in the summary sentence (YES in step S74 and NO in S75), the corresponding reference element in the original document is replaced with the element to be referred to in the summary sentence (step S77). Thus, when the reference element as a correspondent pronoun is not contained in the summary sentence although the element to be referred to such as the pronoun or determiner clause exists in the summary sentence, the first appearing element to be referred to its replaced with the reference element and the following element to be referred to corresponding to the same reference element is added to the summary sentence as it is without being replaced. |
