PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device and method for display in a FA apparatus which are superior in operability and safety. SOLUTION: As for a display device which is attached to an electronic component mounted device as the FA apparatus and makes an picture display for operation, the array directions of orthogonal coordinate axes as a characteristic display mode set to console panels 3A and 4B arranged on the front and backsides of the device are stored in a display mode storage part in advance and the console panels used for operation are switched to display the operation picture by a display process part 27 according to the array directions of the orthogonal coordinate axes characteristic of the console panels. Consequently, even when a display process part is common, proper picture displays corresponding to respective operation positions are made to improve the operability and safety. |
