<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the toner wide in a fixable temperature range and good in fixability and the manufacture of such a toner. SOLUTION: This toner is obtained by melting fine resin grains comprising a crystalline substance and an amorphous polymer to attach them in an aqueous medium, and it is preferred that the crystalline substance has a melting point of 60 deg.C to 130 deg.C and a number average molecular weight of 1,500 to 15,000 and a melt viscosity of <=100 dPa.s at a temperature of melting point +20 deg.C. This toner is manufactured by preparing fine resin grains by emulsion polymerization of a radically polymerizable monomer solution and attaching the fine resin grains by melting them in the aqueous medium.</p> |
