PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a vehicle in a cost minimum nanner by use of a toll road by guiding the vehicle so as to pass through the toll road at a toll discount time zone of the toll road preminarily memorized. SOLUTION: Information on a toll road and a toll discount time zone thereof is acquired by using a portable telephone 9 and stored in an RAM 8. When a target place is set, retrieval and setting of an earliest start time for passing through an entrance tollhouse and an exit tollhouse of a toll road in a toll discount time zone and a shortest time route (a fastest route using a toll road and an intermediate route using the toll road partially) are conducted. In guiding a vehicle, the actual position of the vehicle and a map are displayed on a display 5, and when the position is in the vicinity of entrance toll house, application information on the toll discount time zone in the entrance tollhouse and the name of the applicable remotest exit tollhouse (interchange) within the discount time zone are displayed on the display 5. |
