PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remote commander for home electric appliance to which a loupe is attached for people whose eyesight is deteriorated by mounting the loupe, by which people can view an object such as characters with magnification, to the remote control body. SOLUTION: A lock groove 25 consisting of an upper lock piece 23 and a lower lock piece 24 is provided to a front panel of a remote control body 2 and a loupe 3 is fitted to the lock groove 25. In this case, the lock pieces 23, 24 are elastically deformed and the loupe 3 is mounted to the lock groove 25 by forcibly fitting each projection of the loupe 3 into the lock groove 25. Each projection inserted in this way is turnably supported around an axial line of each projection of the loupe 3, that is, in a way that its angle can be adjusted. Then the loupe 3 is adjusted at an angle at which a viewer can easily view an object (e.g. a television program column). Furthermore, depressing alight source power button at a dark place allows a light source LED 7 to illuminate a range around the object.
