PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient bus location system in which a user is can obtain bus information without going to a bus stop. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a travelling situation storing part 102 for converting position data of a bus into travelling situation data (data concerning the position of the bus or a required time till the bus stop) and storing them, a diagram generating device 101 for storing diagram data of the bus, a voice response device 104 for converting travelling situation data and diagram data into voice signals and an information managing device 103 which is connected to the devices 104, 101 and the part 102 to control the outputs of travelling situation data and diagram data. The information managing device 103 selects one of traveling situation data and diagram data in accordance with an inquiry by a telephone set and transmits it so that the user obtains bus information which he or she desires.
