PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous decision of hot water filling by operating a circulation pump after hot water is supplied at a set hot water filling quantity and supplying a predetermined quantity of hot water additionally if hot water circulation can not be detected by a circulation detecting means. SOLUTION: A circulation pump 7 is operated and hot water circulation in an extra firing circuit 6 is detected by means of a flow switch 11. If the flow switch 11 is turned off, i.e., hot water circulation in the extra firing circuit 6 is not detected, operation of the circulation pump 7 is stopped and a predetermined quantity (e.g. 20-40 litter) of hot water is supplied additionally to a bathtub 13 before completing hot water filling of bath. More specifically, the circulation pump 7 is operated after hot water filling is carried out at a set hot water filling quantity and a predetermined quantity of hot water is supplied additionally if hot water circulation can not be detected. According to the arrangement, hot water filling error is not indicated even if a bathtub adapter 14 is fixed at a high position of a large bathtub 13 for the set hot water filling quantity, and hot water filling can be completed normally.
