SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display size switching device switches the display character size of a liquid crystal display(LCD) 5. A display magnification is specified based on the click of a stick 61Z of a joggle switch 61. Under the control of a magnification control section 11, the size of display characters on the LCD 5 is controlled based on the display magnification specified by the thick of the stick 61Z of the switch 61. As a result, a desired expanded display is provided for the display characters on the display 5 and visual recognition of the LCD is made easy.
